Sorte: Yabukita, Sayamakaori, OkumidoriTeesorte

Ceremonial and latte matcha from one Shizuoka field.
Bauer: Masudaさん
Mr. Masuda is a skilled tea farmer in Shizuoka who manages a large tea field and oversees every step, from growing to packaging. He uses the prized first harvest to make ceremonial matcha smooth enough to drink on its own, and later harvests for matcha that works beautifully in lattes.

Absolut empfehlenswert! 🍃

We ship from warehouses in the US, the EU and Japan — whichever is closest to you. US and EU orders arrive in 4–12 business days; the handful of countries served from Japan take around 10. Business days count from dispatch rather than from when you order, and exclude weekends and public holidays. You'll get a tracking number by email the moment your parcel leaves the warehouse.
We only buy from fields grown without pesticides or chemicals. We ask each farmer directly how they manage their land, visit the plantation and processing facility ourselves, taste every harvest before committing, and check that the biodiversity around the fields is alive. Small family farms don't always carry paperwork — so we verify it in person instead.
Japanese green tea covers an enormous range, and choosing online isn't easy. If you've tried yours and it isn't for you, email info@nioteas.com within 30 days with your order number and a line on what you didn't enjoy. We'll send a different tea of equal or lower value, free. Nothing to post back — keep it, share it, or try brewing it cooler. Once per order.
Email info@nioteas.com within 30 days with your order number and a photo. We'll approve it, cover the return postage with a prepaid label or a reimbursement, and refund you — no restocking fee. Refunds go to your original payment method within 2 business days of the return reaching us; your bank may take another 5–20 to show it.
Unopened items in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days. Tea is sealed for hygiene, so opened packs can't come back — but the swap above covers exactly that situation. Return postage is yours unless the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.
Orders to the US and EU ship domestically from our local warehouse, so there's no customs charge and no duty. A small number of destinations are served from our Japan warehouse, where your own customs authority may apply import duty, VAT or a carrier handling fee on delivery. Those are set by your country, not by us. Ask before you order and we'll help you check.

The purchase process on the Nio website is simple, prices are reasonable and the shipping process is fast. The Masudaen matcha is bright green, smooth and has the perfect sweet level.
This is maybe the tastiest matcha I have tried so far, the color is super vibrant, the smell and flavor are a bit sweet and fruity, not bitter and not so much astringency, truly excellent on its own or in lattes 👌🏻
I love this matcha for my matcha latte, most matchas are too bitter for my taste, but this one has a slightly sweeter note. I was crushed with disappointment when it was out of stock, but I kept looking and eventually it was back again 💕
I have ordered this many times
Always satisfied
It has a slight sweetness, that I like
I have had cheap matcha, it can’t be compared to this, for me it’s obviously why this one cost what it cost.
One of my favourite matcha out of 20.
I was so blown away by this matcha!!
The color is a gorgeous, vibrant green, and it froths like a dream. I love its mellow flavor, its natural sweetness, and the creamy texture that feels almost indulgent.
One of the best matchas I've tried to this day.
Mmmmmm, this is so far the best and my favorite matcha of all the ones I've tried. This matcha has an excellent green color and creates a very nice foam. It has a fine creamy texture 😋.
I love it ❤️
Love the matcha! Has a natural sweetness to it. Wish it came in a tin but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I learnt that the matcha Nio teas has is sourced directly from farmers too. Will be ordering again.
The matcha tastes really good! Very sweet, however it does have a more lumpy consistency! So a 5/5 for the taste but a 3/5 for the texture!
I still love the amazing quality however!
An extraordinary matcha, a fusion of taste and aroma that captivates the senses from start to finish. With its deep green hue enchanting the eye, this matcha delights the palate with a sweet vanilla scent that promises an unparalleled taste journey.
The foam looks like pudding and its delicacy is harmoniously combined with a vegetal freshness that envelops the taste in a gentle but firm embrace.
And when you tickle your palate, you will discover a barely perceptible hint of bitterness, ready to melt into an exciting explosion of citrusy and pleasantly acidic notes that will delight every part of your being.
This matcha also offers subtle hints of the sea, inviting you to immerse yourself in an oasis of unexpected flavour. And as you savour each sip, you will realise that it leaves behind a lingering sweetness, as if you had just tasted the most delicious sugared almond.

Beautiful green color
Very equilibred matcha perhaps too much
Probably a mix of different matcha
No bitterness at all
No umami
Excellent for beginner for the tea ceremony
Can be send for koicha too
